Leadership

The Leadership team led by Principal, Peter Scragg maintains a strong focus building on good quality teaching to an orientation of high level achievement in learning. This is embedded in the Flagstaff Hill R-7 School Site Learning Improvement Plan for 2012. Although the Principal maintains the legal and moral responsibility for the whole school overall, the following are foci for each member of the Leadership Team that reflects the paradigm of shared leadership and the schools leaning improvement priorities;

Principal

Prime Focus: To build and develop the Flagstaff Hill R-7 as a dynamic and successful educational organisation for its students and school community.  To build and develop the staff as a strong Professional Learning Community (PLC) that as an engine drives the improvement of student academic outcomes, teaching pedagogy and alignment of the school organisation to those priorities.

Kym Day, BEd, Dip T.

Deputy Principal

Prime Focus: To build Flagstaff Hill R-7 School as a strong problems solving organisation of staff, students, parents to facilitate the improvement of student learning outcomes.

Jane Waltham, Dip HRM, BA English, Dip Ed, Higher National Dip in Business Studies

Coordinator in Learning

Prime Focus: To improve the academic outcomes and performance for the students at FHR-7S as described in the 2012 Learning Improvement Plan.

Business Manager

Prime Focus: As the Business Manager to ensure that Flagstaff Hill R-7 School organisation and administration is aligned the targets set in improving our site improvement priorities and especially student learning outcomes.
